Winter is here in New York City. Hands are dry, legs are dry and especially my lips are cracking. Working 6 days a week at a server job doesn’t help either. I’ve been using Fresh‘s SUGAR lip balm during work, but it hasn’t been helping. I’ve been using mostly lip tints and matte lipsticks, so cracked lips are a nightmare.
I have used the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask for a week, in order to confidently write this review. The first thing I noticed about this product is the matte pink color and its small little container, making it so appealing to my eyes. I grabbed it from Sephora’s shelves and tried it on my hand. It smells like berries! You can buy it for $20 in the U.S.
I woke up in the morning from my first night using the lip mask, my lips were still very soft and the dead skins were gone because this mask apparently also acts as an exfoliator. I was very happy with this product so I also tried to put it on during my makeup routine. I would apply it before I put any makeup, and then put on my lip product last. To my surprise, there were no creases, and my lip product glided on smoothly, and I didn’t have any dry flaking skin!
I’ve been using it as a lip balm instead of just a night lip mask. It helps keep my lip hydrated while I use other lip products. I’m super satisfied with this product. I would repurchase again and again!
